Battery, solar and EV charging at lower cost
With Energie 360° and Smart Energy Link, kuafu's predictive control lowered energy costs at two Swiss sites in 2025.
The challenge
A standard peak shaver works with a limit that is set in advance, and a rule-based charging plan does not look ahead. Neither knows when the evening peak comes or when solar power is available.
How it worked
kuafu forecasts the load of each site, including the evening peak, and plans when the battery and the cars charge. Smart Energy Link connects the devices. Energie 360° built and runs the systems.
Results
A battery with solar power, and a fleet of EV chargers: both ran at lower cost with the same devices.
Apartment buildings with solar
Three apartment buildings with solar on the roofs. The tenants buy the solar power through a self-consumption community (ZEV). Energie 360° planned, built and financed the system, and runs it.
Company fleet
A company fleet charges on site. The charging needs of all users were met. With solar power and a dynamic tariff, higher savings are achieved.
What it shows
Building operators can use their own devices to lower their energy costs, and the charging needs of all users were met.
