kuafu offers an AI and automation-supported energy management platform for power grid operators to intelligently manage bottlenecks by using local resources from electromobility and smart buildings. As an orchestration center at the edge of the grid, the platform coordinates resources such as electric vehicles and heat pumps, which are usually managed by energy management system providers, to support grid operations. This reduces the need for costly grid reinforcement and energy portfolio balancing, while opening up new revenue streams for energy management system providers.
